Job summary

The following are the typical responsibilities of the role:

  • Business analysis, responsible for understanding and documenting business processes & finance users requirements to ensure a proper understanding of the clients’ needs by the developers:
  • Project support and coordination, working closely with multi-functional colleagues in Asia and Europe & our Swiss Head office experts

          - analyse existing business processes
          - gather user requirements, judge feasibility for the system improvements, provide solutions
          - create detailed business requirement documents and translate it into functional specifications
           - plan and perform integration and user acceptance test
           - provide analytic support by analysing data extraction from various  systems and databases

  • To support PBS Finance (as a level 3 expert) in their client support (S2i users / finance department): troubleshoot technical issues via e-mails, phone and directly on site fully document JIRA tickets for response to client or escalation to experts follow outstanding issues and ensure a timely resolution

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Masters of Accounting or Information Systems

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years


Relevant working experience in Financial Institutions
Experience in the area of Regulatory Reporting

Required skills

Proficient in accounting schemes for banking products
Bank accounting / booking of financial derivative products
Bank regulatory reporting (MAS, FINMA and HKMA)
Information systems migration and integration
Business analysis and project management

Technical skills required

Windows excel + VBA
Business intelligence : SAP Business object
MAS reporting : RegPro (OneSumX) is mandatory
Private banking ERP : S2i is a plus
SQL Coding
