Job summary

Reporting to the CEO, with functional reporting to the Head of HR, CA Indosuez SG, the Senior HRBP will act as a point of contact within the business unit for all people related issues and is a people champion ensuring that people related matters are always high on the business agenda. The successful applicant will be supporting managers and employees on a full spectrum of HR activities, including but not limited to: 

HR Business Partnering (HRBP)

  • Partner with senior business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • Coach and mentor managers on effective people management practices, fostering a culture of high performance and engagement.
  • Manage complex ongoing business challenges, providing creative and pragmatic advice/guidance to business stakeholders to effectively manage and resolve human capital issues whilst ensuring all actions confirm to regulatory/ legislative; best practice and corporate policies.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, develop insights, and inform strategic HR decisions.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract, recruit, and retain top talent aligned with business needs.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to selection and onboarding.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires, fostering a sense of belonging and setting them up for success.

Learning and Development

  • Partner with the business to identify skill gaps and design and implement effective training and development programs to enhance employee capabilities and drive performance.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in learning and development to ensure programs are innovative and engaging.

HR Operations and Reporting

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive HR operations strategy, including identifying and managing the outsourcing of administrative activities (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, leave management, reporting) to qualified offshore providers, while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Oversee the efficient and accurate processing of core HR tasks, potentially in collaboration with and managing the performance of outsourced HR administration providers. Analyze HR data and prepare comprehensive reports for Head Office, management and regulatory bodies.
  • Utilize data insights to identify opportunities for improving HR processes and optimizing HR operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.

Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Develop and implement programs and initiatives to foster a positive and engaging work environment, promoting employee well-being and motivation.
  • Proactively address employee concerns and grievances, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with employees across all levels, acting as a trusted and advocate.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years

Experience

Minimum 10 years experience as a HR professional ; with at least 5 years of relevant experience in similar HR Business Partner role.

  • Experience in handling full spectrum of HR duties.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and Singapore employment law.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives.
