Service description:

Responsible for system and network management of services. The Citrix/VDI expert is attached to the Workplace team within the infrastructure department. The Workplace team is made up of 8 people. You will be in regular contact with employees in India and Singapore.

Additional responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support;
• Support the deployment of solutions that meet business demand.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

1.     System Infrastructure Administration:

• VDI Implementation and Optimisation, expert level;
• Citrix Administration (publishing Apps, share desktop); expert level;
• Netscaler expertise to increase the functionality;
• VMWare administration;
• AD and GPO skills;
• Monitoring Tools: ControlUp, Splunk. PRTG;
• Optimisation and rationalisation;
• Document management: write, adapt and improve internal; documentation (procedures, working instructions, e.g. mailbox, VPN access) and documentation from external service providers;
• Coordinate activities and maintain effective relationships with internal department and external service providers;
• Contribute to improve system operations efficiencies.

2.     Security Skills

• Good knowledge of Firewall optimisation and support (Palo Alto);
• Load balancing solution (Netscaler).

3.     Network Infrastructure Administration:

• Switches, firewall, routers, mail gateway…
• Provide technical solutions in the following areas: hardware and software; technologies including LAN, WAN, WLAN;
• DELL vXrail, nVidia vGPU configuration, administration;
• Contribute to improve network operations efficiencies and network security.

4.     Support the deployment of solutions that meet business demand

• Provide support in the implementation phase of projects and contribute to related documentation;
• Coordinate and manage daily activities with external service providers and a Team CAP Gemini India;
• Elaborate and follow a roadmap with the Citrix team.

Master in IT or equivalent experience background

Several years of experience in a similar function

• Ability to understand Enterprise Architecture concept;
• Knowledge of ITIL framework;
• Strong technical skills in the area of Virtualisation (including VDI, Citrix, VMWare), Administration;
• Good knowledge in Netscaler, Palo Alto Firewall;
• Experience in implementing best practices, process, and standards;
• Excellent analytical problem solving;
• Proactive with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Autonomy, curiosity and fast adaptation to changes;
• Innovative and creative thinker with a strategic perspective.
