Job summary

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Data Governance Analyst to support the Asia COO Department in Singapore. This role sits at the centre of operational coordination and governance, and is well suited to a candidate with experience in data governance, data management, reporting, risk management, or banking operations.

 
You will help manage reporting, dashboards, KPIs, budget monitoring, outsourcing oversight, and governance documentation, while also supporting automation and process improvement initiatives across the COO function.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the below tasks, but not limited to: -

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor departmental performance and support decision-making.
  • Support budget tracking, resource monitoring, expenditure analysis, and variance reporting in collaboration with Finance and operational teams.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and workflow automation.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives across the COO scope.
  • Support the automation of processes and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency, security, and processing time.
  • Assist with outsourcing oversight and third-party risk management (TPRM), including monitoring lists, due diligence coordination, and framework maintenance.
  • Support procurement, invoice processing, billing activities, and supplier/SLA monitoring in coordination with Finance and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain and monitor governance documentation, directives, and procedures within the COO department.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements, and escalate operational issues where needed.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Experience

Min. 3 years of experience in data governance, data management, data analytics, risk management, or related banking/financial services roles.

Required skills

  • Familiarity with third-party risk management frameworks and regulatory expectations, such as MAS and HKMA, is an advantage.
  • Experience in private banking or governance-related roles is preferred.
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and/or Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a structured but evolving environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Fluency in English is required, with Mandarin and French as advantage due to regular interaction with internal stakeholders in both North Asia and Europe region
