Job summary
The Investment Management Department in Singapore is responsible for delivering a comprehensive suite of investment solutions, including public mutual funds, alternatives, and private equity opportunities to professional investors, ensuring alignment with their risk profiles.
The Fund Specialist reports to the Head of Investment Management, Asia and is tasked with actively promoting and distributing CA Indosuez Investment Management products to clients across Asia. The role leverages on the CA Indosuez Investment Management platform and involves close coordination with investment specialists and the Fund Solutions team based in Europe.
You will have the opportunity to support the below tasks, but not limited to: -
- Proactively develop fund sales & activities in Singapore. Marketing & distribution and advisory of mutual funds and alternative funds within the Singapore Fund universe to local clients, to local Investment Advisors and Private bankers.
- Marketing of investment funds managed by the IWM to Private Bankers, Investment advisors and clients in Singapore.
- Lead fund campaigns and organize regular meetings with local Investment advisors and private bankers for general pitching and switching ideas. Conduct training for local Private bankers and Investment Advisors for new funds, or re-visiting interesting leads within the list.
- Understand and provide suitable solutions for clients using full range of eligible products. Promoting the Funds offering by combining views on the financial markets, producing tailor-made investment proposals, portfolio reviews and distribution support.
- Participate and Contribute to regular global Fund Selection Investment Committee. Collaboration in the design and expansion of the investment offer, Fund selection and monitoring in a global team based coordination; Expand the Singapore Fund Universe with new opportunities and conduct due diligence on the identified funds to support both Fund advisory and DPM needs.
- Work closely with Global Fund Solution team and effectively collaborate with other teams such as Products, Operations, Legal and Compliance locally or overseas. Conduct periodic compliance reviews on the funds within the Singapore Fund Universe and respect compliance rules of local regulations.
- Promoting the Investment Management offering, consisting of Funds (Public Funds, Alternatives & Private markets funds) and Fund Advisory services; Support local marketing efforts as requested (internal/external presentations) within Investment Management scope. Support (when needed) Private Markets local fund-raising process in accordance with internal procedure and in close coordination with Global Investment Management business line.
- Assume any other tasks/projects as and when assigned.

Candidate criteria
Minimal education level
Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
- Degree from leading Business Schools or Universities, preferably Master degree
- Certification of CACS paper 1 and paper 2 needed, certification of CAIA or CFA would be a plus
Level of minimal experience
11 years and more
Experience
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant Marketing Sales & fund specialist experience, specialized in similar mutual fund and alternative fund sales, or investment consulting roles in Private Bank and/or Asset management. Strong public markets related background
- Strong experience, knowledge and coverage in Alternatives & Private markets will be an advantage.

- Proficiency in English required; Proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage due to a large potential client base whom are Mandarin/Chinese speaking
