Asia Operations provide operational capabilities to Azqore’s client banks, allowing them to focus on executing their strategy, reduce operational cost and improve operational risk. Within Asia Operations, the Securities team is responsible for processing and managing the risk relating to securities & derivatives settlements, securities transfers, corporate action (income, cash) and asset creation and maintenance.
The incumbent will be part of this exciting function and is responsible for:
The processing and controls of the processes within the Securities function.
Ensuring efficiency and productivity in delivery quality services to Azqore’s clients.
Working closely with his/her colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions, in a comprehensive, timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities
Daily BAU
· Successful applicant will be assigned to functions within the Asia Securities Operations team, including asset data management, settlements & derivatives and/or transfers. Understanding of the core system and process workflow are essential.
· There is an expectation that he/she understands the relevant market markets and demonstrate front-to-back knowledge of the process(es) he/she is handling.
· Proactively manages and resolves discrepancies, relating to the functions he/she is responsible for, with internal and external stakeholders, both locally and abroad
Others
· Participates to Azqore Asia Operations projects, proactively drives and implements process enhancement and improvements, where necessary

Minimal education level
Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
Bachelor degree, and / or professional qualification in Banking / Finance
Level of minimal experience
3-5 years
Experience
- Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Settlements, Derivatives and/or Asset Transfer processes. Experience in Private Banking is a plus. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Familiar with financial products as well as the market infrastructures, regulations and operational risks.
- Knowledgeable about SWIFT messages types.
- Excel VBA macro knowledge is a plus.
