Job summary

Outline of the Position:

  • Perform Technical IT, office automation & Premises related tasks under the supervision of the head of Middle Office IT, IT Security and Continuity.
     

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Support the head of Middle office IT, IT Security and Continuity as required and non-exhaustively indicated below,
  • Perform IT helpdesk function by answering and/ or redirecting supports calls to other platforms to which IT matters are outsourced,
  • Follow-up on user purchase, services subscription request and inventory maintenance,
  • Internal video conference meeting setup and troubleshooting,
  • Ensure that operating instructions are followed and proper records of operations are well maintained,
  • Initiating corrective action as necessary to deal with computer malfunction and/ or breaches of security,
  • Liaise with IT service providers to enforce PC and server security against threads/ virus attacks by updating the virus engine/ virus definition list in all PC and Servers,
  • Obtain/ validate quotations from various suppliers for new requirements and submit them to head of Middle Office IT for review and approval,
  • Monitor the daily security technology bulletin send by Information Security Risk Management Unit and lease with head office for proper actions,
  • Maintain hardware & software inventory,
  • Participate in the local IT Policy & Procedures and ensure that they are strictly followed up for all IT implementations,
  • Directly participate in BCP (Disaster recovery Plan),
  • Contribute to prepare systems and users documentations,
  • Escalate support issues to 2nd level IT support or 3rd party vendors,
  • Assist in performing the Internal controls related to IT and IT Security,
  • Be part of the team to manage the office automation and premises coordinating with vendors for the upgrade/ delivery tasks and running,
  • Assume any other tasks as assigned.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Relevant studies in Business Administration, Information Systems or related technical disciplines

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant IT/Technical support
