Job summary
This position reports to the Chief of Staff and interfaces with the Front office (Relationship Manager/Client Service Officer) and the various departments of the Bank.
The individual is required to analyse, review and improve various processes and reporting mostly focused on Front office. The objective is to increase the quality and the reliability of the processes with the main objective to strengthen the Front office platform through continuous improvement and robust monitoring.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to support the below tasks, but not limited to: -
- Conduct review and improvement of operational processes at Front Office level through better design and automation
- Manage accurate review and reporting for the commercial and business team
- Design reportings encompassing all activities within the Business Risk scope.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for an intern to join us from July 2023 onwards, for a minimum of 6 months commitment.
Please note that this is an internship that may require you to defer from university studies for the period of the assignment. Students who can commit full-time will be preferred.
- Tertiary or Graduate student pursuing a Bachelor Degree in relevant studies;
- strong IT skills (VBA, RPA, and other coding language);
- be a strong team player;
- solution-oriented by proposing innovative ideas (quick wins and long term solutions);
- be humble and receptive to advices from the seniors in the team;
- be able to collaborate with stakeholders from the business units;
- have good research, investigative and analytical skills, and attention to details possess mental toughness and be committed to quality work;
- have good verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal communication skills;
- have good organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills;
- be a self-motivated, self-initiated creative problem-solver who enjoys working in a bank environment.
- Must have legal authorization to work in Singapore and do not require sponsorship for employment visa during the period of internship
