Job summary

Traineeship Description:

 
This position reports to the HR Business Partner and interfaces with employees, managers, HR team members and external vendors. The HR Associate will actively participate in the day-to-day HR activities of the entire employee lifecycle.


The HR Associate will also gain exposure working closely with the Geneva and Hong Kong HR team specifically in learning and development as well as other HR activities and projects.

Responsibilities:
Trainee to be involved in:

1. Supporting talent attraction and employee experience activities

2. Employee on-boarding and off-boarding process and its related recordkeeping

3. Facilitation and support for all learning and development initiatives within the Bank

4. Facilitation and participation of Bank-wide workforce engagement initiatives

5. Provide direct support to employees during implementation of HR services, policies and programs

 


Technical Skills and Competencies:
1. Personal effectiveness and strategic planning skills

2. Stakeholder engagement and customer service focus behaviour

3. Gain experience with Human Resources Online Systems and database management and record keeping

4. Gain foundational knowledge of HR policies and practices, compliance requirements, and risk implications of HR

5. Gain foundational knowledge HR compliance requirements

Experience

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
a. Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from ITEs, polytechnics, universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or

b. Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020.

Required skills
