Job summary
The Head of Product Management Singapore is responsible for all Product Managers and Product Owners (team size of around 10) located in Singapore.
He/she manages closely the team in their daily work such as functional analysis, product roadmap, project plan production and client relationships.
With his/her intensive Management skills and WM products knowledges, he/she supports the team in their respective roles
As a Manager, the role of Head of Product Management is to:
Work closely with Chief Product Officer to ensure deliverables are aligned with Azqore strategies
Co-validate with the Chief Product Officer the product roadmap and project plans
Work closely with Relationship Managers to increase client satisfaction
Escalate issues to his/her management
Follow up on deadlines and control quality of delivery
Job Responsibilites
Management
- Plan the main duties of the team and anticipate future workload
- Set up KPI to follow-up team’s activities
- Participate to the recruitment of new team members
- On-board new employees joining the team
- Train newcomers on internal processes
- Organise weekly team meetings to share management decisions
- Organise one-to one meeting to give and obtain feedback to/from employees
- Formalise annual appraisals and annual objectives
- Assess annual objectives, skills and manage career path
- Control that processes and procedures are respected
Expertise
- Coordinate and support Product Managers and Product Owners in their functional specification of clients’ requests and product roadmap/project plan scoping
- Support his/her team to secure the good completion of product documentation
- Co-validate the product roadmap proposed by Product Managers
Commercial / Marketing
- Support Product Managers in their clients’ presentations (products evolutions/new features) to clients and prospects (product pre-sale)
Customer Relationship
- Support Relationship Managers during selected clients’ meetings for transversal functional needs
- Be the point of contact for Relationship Managers for project plan production
Job Requirements
- Postgraduate degree – Masters or equivalent in Finance or IT
- At least 10 years' experience in similar role, including at least 3-5 years as a team manager (10 - 20 people)
- Banking and business expertise, ideally with a transversal knowledge of Wealth Management sector
- Core Banking System knowledge
- Service provider awareness
- Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) awareness
