Job summary

The sucessful applicant is responsible for guiding the evolution of the roadmap of IT projects in his/ her field and to ensure the review of all projects by guaranteeing their scope, their planning, their budget and their quality.

He/ She will control the capacity plan for projects and ensure the proper allocation of resources, supervise employees and carry out the contractual follow-up of external employees and ensure the relationship with other Azqore entities and customers.

 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Analysis, development and evaluation activities:

- Contribute to demand management by defining IT projects, on Core banking and Digital activities

- Ensure that the proposed solutions meet customers' expectations,


Organizing, management and implementation activities:

- Ensure Singapore Build team reaches sufficient maturity in order to be able to handle any projects across the functionnal / technical scope of Azqore.

- Supervise a team of project managers and directly related resources

- Organize projects by ensuring control of the perimeter, deadlines, costs and quality of deliverables

- Lead the project roadmap, ensure tactical governance of projects (committees, resource allocation, reporting, compliance with performance indicators.)

- Guide team members on the project management methodology

- Challenge the solutions, costs and timelines offered by the project teams

- Propose and validate any change in the organisation of projects aimed at improving their efficiency and performance

- Propose the optimal activities of projects (industrialization, documentation, maintenance of knowledge in teams)


Communication, contact or animation activities:

- Contribute to communicating / Communicate with clients on its portfolio of projects

- Define and manage the skills of its employees

- Lead your team and follow up on a regular basis

- Sense of customer service

 
Financial and control activities:

- Track and control the project budget envelope

- Development and control of the budget

- Optimisation of project cost through location mix (Onshore /Offshore) and project type (Fixed Price / Time & Material)

- Optimisation of average cost of man day

- Validation of employees' activity reports

- Control / Follow up on fixed price projects

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Information Technology or equivalent

Level of minimal experience

11 years and more

Experience

- Minimum 10 years of work experience, preferably with at least 5 years of experience as a Head of Build or an equivalent role

- Solid background in leading large-scale complex IT projects in in package or governance mode at a multi-site and multicultural context

- Knowledge of Banking environment and in particular in private banking

- Experience in both technical and managerial functions.

- Ability to evolve in a complex environment and a context of transformation.

- Ability to invest heavily in the management of critical projects and in understanding the company's business processes

- Project piloting experience with the support of methodologies such as PMP, Prince2 or AGILE

- Excellent relationship management skills

- Dynamic and involved to have the strength of conviction to advance various subjects
