Job summary

This is a developing Front Office support role supporting the independent validation and performing part of Client Service Officer’s duties that are centralized within Client Service Support Network. Depending on the experience of the applicant, the role may eventually evolved into a Client Service Officer (CSO), either as a contract floater or permanent placement.


Role

 He/she will act as the point of contact for the Front office – supporting operational queries/ duties:

General

  • Perform independent verification of client’s instructions / Dormant account Call Back
  • Front Office Control process
  • Co-ordinate & ensure smooth and timely delivery of account opening documentation
  • Act as the point of contact for the Front Office – Support operational queries
  • Support the Account Closure Process
  • Conduct basic KYC duties (e.g. media searches, data entry input etc.)
  • Any other duties and administrative duties that are assigned by Management

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management

  • Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly),
  • Management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree with at least 2 – 3 years of related banking working experience
  • CACS Paper 1 & 2 preferred
  • Previous experience in back office functionality (Client Documentation) is preferred
  • Good Knowledge of account documentation will be an advantage
  • Good Knowledge of MS Office software applications; knowledge of Macros and Visual Basic knowledge will be a plus
  • Having an aptitude for technology
