Job summary
Outline of the Position:
Assist the Team Head of Finance Department with the financial accounting and regulatory reporting for Hong Kong Branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Team Head to ensure smooth daily operations of the department, including daily controls, general ledger maintenance, month-end closing
- Handle staff reimbursement and vendor invoice payments
- Maintain a fixed asset register and follow up bank reconciliation
- Prepare month end journal entries including an accrual, prepayment and provision booking
- Prepare monthly Profit and Loss analysis report
- Prepare reports and surveys to the HKMA and Census and Statistic Department
- Participate in Bank’s financial system development and implementation projects
