Job summary

The DPM Middle Officer works within the Portfolio Management team and reporting to Head of Asset Management in Singapore. The role is in proximity with the Investment Solutions and Wealth Managers departments to serve CA Indosuez Wealth Asia clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute the asset allocation derived from the central and regional investment committees (Equities, bonds, funds, structured products and FX etc.) for all discretionary management portfolios. Assist the main DPM portfolio managers in the managing DPM mandates on the daily basis.
  • Ensure seamless trade execution and Ensure post-trade portfolio controls to be in line with their respective strategies.
  • Provide administration services in DPM accounts and supports for account operations & admin with different stakeholders
  • Update performances of the different strategies and update local marketing documents with high quality of maintenance.  Support and produce marketing proposals and local marketing materials. 
  • Produce regular account review & reporting and prepare review letters to clients 
  • Produce business reporting and controls reporting for Asset Management Head
  • Develop reporting and marketing tools, Maintain and improve proprietary IT tools
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects to assist in operations and business development for Asset management.
  • Assume any other tasks/projects as and when assigned.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Banking and Finance or related discipline
  • 2-3 years’ relevant experience in middle office, trading & operations
  • Good understanding of Financial Products, Markets and Portfolio Management
  • Strong proficiency in office tools (MS Office environment), VBA, Bloomberg as well as presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with good qualities of precision
  • Ability to work independently and as a good team player with analytical, management and time-management skills
  • Pro-active and creative with good conceptual thinking and problem solving skills
  • Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Respect for values, ethics, confidentiality and open to change
