You as the Devops Manager will be working within the Release and Environment Management Team and will actively participate and work on Release and Environment management activities for Azqore.
- Collaborating with Azqore global development community on release management activities such as Source code management, Build and deployment;
- You should be very well versed with hands-on Jenkins & Git.
Key Responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to support the below tasks, but not limited to: -
- Manage the toolchain allowing the Continuous Integration to keep CICD workflow;
- Excellent knowledge of Git flow and branching strategies;
- Excellent knowhow of source code management, Git and Build using Jenkins;
- Should have excellent scripting knowledge in Jenkins (Groovy, Shell);
- Experience of working in Jenkins integration with deployment tools (UDeploy, Terraform) etc;
- Create, define and implement the deployment architecture;
- Experience of working on all release management issues with in Git, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, Maven etc;
- Strong knowledge and development of tool version upgrade (i.e. Jenkins Git, etc.);
- Maintain and monitor the dashboard of the different versions deployed within the different environments;
- Familiar in complex application deployment, definition and architecture in WebSphere & Jboss environment.
Requirements
- Degree from leading Universities in related discipline;
- 10-12 years of IT experience with 8years Jenkins experience;
- Relevant experience specialized in Financial markets will be an advantage
- Experience in working in Next gen framework technologies: AWS, Docker, Open shift, Containerization;
- Have Agile Methodology and DevOps mindset;
- Has relevant knowledge in Nexus, Containerization, Kubernetes, SonarQube, Veracode, XL Deploy, OpenShift, MobaXterm, etc.;
- Coordinate release production, in close collaboration with the Technical Leaders of the development teams;
- Manage Environment maintenance activities: Refresh, Environment shakedown etc.;
- Experience in governing both waterfall as well as Agile/DevOps project lifecycles;
- Analytical, Reporting & Documentation;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with good qualities of precision;
- Ability to work independently and as a good team player with analytical, management and time-management skills;
- Pro-active and creative with good conceptual thinking and problem solving skills;
- Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills;
- Respect for values, ethics, confidentiality and open to change.
